We believe AI will increasingly shape markets, financial products and digital services over the next few decades.

Crypto will be no different.

We believe one of the biggest shifts will be the rise of Autonomous Finance — where users increasingly interact with DeFi through intelligent AI agents instead of manually navigating every protocol, market and opportunity themselves.

Cardano Smart AI wants to be positioned at the center of this transition on Cardano.

For this purpose, we are gradually building our own intelligence infrastructure behind the tools and products we launch today.

The progress should eventually be visible through the evolution of Cardano Smart AI Chat itself.

Today it is an AI companion.

Over time, we want it to become an AI Agent capable of understanding the user, monitoring Cardano and acting within rules defined by that user.

From AI Companion to Autonomous Finance

The goal is for Cardano Smart AI Chat to eventually evolve into an AI Agent capable of interacting with Cardano DeFi on the user's behalf.

Autonomous does not mean giving an AI unlimited access to a user's assets.

The user defines the rules. The Agent operates inside those rules. This is the core principle behind our vision of Autonomous Finance on Cardano.

We believe users will increasingly move away from manually opening many different applications, researching each opportunity separately and monitoring every position themselves.

AI agents can eventually become the layer between the user and Cardano DeFi.

The user communicates their goals. The Agent understands the portfolio, evaluates the environment, monitors conditions and acts according to predefined permissions.

Our goal is to build that intelligence layer.

One Agent Will Not Be Best at Everything

We do not believe Cardano Smart AI needs to build the best possible AI Agent for every individual task.

Specialized developers may eventually build better agents for certain areas.

Some may focus on DeFi execution. Others may specialize in market analysis, research, governance or completely new use cases.

This is why our roadmap eventually progresses from the AI Agent Phase to the AI Agents Marketplace.

Users should be able to choose the best agent for the task they want to accomplish instead of being locked into one system.

Cardano Smart AI can provide the ecosystem where those agents are discovered, evaluated and used.

Marketplace and protocol revenue

Marketplace activity can also create protocol revenue for Cardano Smart AI.

Under the planned $CSAI model, after applicable infrastructure and service costs are deducted, protocol revenue is intended to flow to $CSAI stakers.

This means Cardano Smart AI does not need to build every successful agent itself.

Users get more choice. Developers gain an ecosystem where they can publish and monetize specialized agents. Cardano Smart AI benefits by providing the marketplace and infrastructure connecting both sides.
