SundaeSwap (SUNDAE) Price, Liquidity & Market Data

About SundaeSwap

SundaeSwap is one of Cardano's longest-running decentralized exchanges and a foundational piece of Cardano DeFi infrastructure. Rather than a basic token-swap application, SundaeSwap combines AMM-based swaps, permissionless liquidity pools, yield incentives, stable-asset trading, on-chain governance, and developer infrastructure into an integrated DEX protocol. It has evolved from the original Cardano AMM design into the more advanced SundaeSwap V3 protocol, with protocol fees collected directly within pool UTXOs and a treasury governed by the SundaeSwap DAO.

SUNDAE is currently priced at $0.0009242. Against USD, SUNDAE is up 0.1% over 24 hours and down 5.3% over 30 days. Against ADA, SUNDAE is down 0.5% over 24 hours and down 2.9% over 30 days. It has 89,510 holders, about $466K in DEX liquidity and a market cap of about $1.23M.

More about SundaeSwap

How it works

Users submit swaps, liquidity deposits, and withdrawal orders that are picked up by scoopers — decentralized order processors, not custodians — who batch eligible orders and submit them on-chain. Liquidity providers deposit asset pairs into AMM pools and receive LP tokens representing their share of a pool, with trading fees accruing inside the relevant liquidity pool. Under SundaeSwap V3, protocol fees are collected directly within pool UTXOs and may be withdrawn to the protocol treasury. SUNDAE holders use the on-chain governance system to influence incentives, protocol parameters, upgrades, and treasury spending.

What it solves

SundaeSwap enables users to exchange Cardano-native assets and provide liquidity without transferring custody to a centralized exchange. It also addresses the deeper technical challenge of adapting automated market making, order processing, and liquidity management to Cardano's extended UTXO architecture, using a scooper-based order-processing model to make AMM trading practical on eUTXO.

Who it is for

Traders swapping Cardano-native assets, liquidity providers earning pool trading fees, users participating in liquidity incentive programs, stablecoin traders using stableswap pools, SUNDAE holders participating in DAO governance, and developers integrating SundaeSwap through SDKs and protocol tools.
