Indigo Protocol (INDY) Price, Liquidity & Market Data
About Indigo Protocol
Indigo Protocol is a decentralized synthetic assets protocol built on Cardano that enables users to create and trade blockchain-native representations of real-world and crypto assets. Rather than a single synthetic-asset application, Indigo operates as financial infrastructure for decentralized asset issuance, stablecoins, and on-chain capital markets, combining overcollateralized lending, synthetic asset issuance, and decentralized liquidity management under one protocol.
INDY is currently priced at $0.1075. Against USD, INDY is down 2.1% over 24 hours and up 4.8% over 30 days. Against ADA, INDY is down 2.7% over 24 hours and up 7.4% over 30 days. It has 10,449 holders, about $283K in DEX liquidity and a market cap of about $2.2M.
More about Indigo Protocol
How it works
Users deposit approved collateral to open Collateralized Debt Positions (CDPs) and mint synthetic assets (iAssets) against overcollateralized positions. Outstanding debt accrues protocol interest over time, and Stability Pools absorb liquidations while earning rewards for participants. The Peg Stabilization Module maintains iUSD stability through supported stablecoin swaps. Protocol fees are collected and distributed according to the documented DAO and staking mechanisms, and INDY holders stake their tokens to participate in governance and receive protocol revenue, making Indigo function as decentralized synthetic asset infrastructure rather than a single borrowing product.
What it solves
Cardano users historically had to rely on bridges, wrapped assets, or centralized custodians to gain exposure to assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, foreign currencies, or stable assets. Indigo lets users mint on-chain synthetic representations of these assets directly on Cardano without bridges or custodians, unifying overcollateralized lending, synthetic asset issuance, and decentralized liquidity management into a single decentralized capital markets protocol.
Who it is for
Indigo serves users minting synthetic assets, borrowers opening Collateralized Debt Positions, traders using iAssets for on-chain exposure, Stability Pool participants absorbing liquidations, liquidity providers supporting iAsset markets, and INDY stakers participating in DAO governance and protocol revenue sharing.
