How it works
Private computations are performed locally by users. Zero-knowledge proofs are then submitted to the network together with any intended public outputs. Validators verify the proofs while only the public state is written on-chain and private state remains local. Holding NIGHT generates the shielded, non-transferable DUST resource used to pay transaction fees and execute smart contracts. Smart contracts are written using Compact, a TypeScript-based programming language.
